Meet The Team

Sevelyn Crosby, PhD
Author
Sevelyn Crosby has her doctorate in Positive Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University. She is currently the Senior Manager of People Strategy at Blue Shield of California. Sevelyn is passionate about helping organizations use evidence-based practices to improve their organizational culture, employee retention, and productivity. She is particularly interested in talent strategy, leadership, skill development, and proactivity at work.

Delia Bani-Shoraka
Marketing Coordinator
Delia Bani attended California State University, Northridge, for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is a Master’s student at Claremont Graduate University, pursuing an Organizational Behavior and Evaluation degree. Delia’s academic interests lie within organizational behavior, with a focus on cultivating healthy work environments. Her current pursuits encompass critical topics, including employee engagement and motivation, leadership development, teamwork dynamics, and organizational diversity initiatives.

Blake Beckmann, MA

Blake Beckmann is an advanced doctoral student in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods at Claremont Graduate University. Before pursuing his PhD, Blake spent almost 15 years as a touring musician and songwriter. He is from Ventura County, California and has been drawing and painting his whole life.

Sophia Kerner
Marketing Coordinator
Sophia is a fourth-year undergraduate student at San Diego State University, majoring in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. She has a strong interest in understanding employee behavior and developing strategies to enhance workplace environments. Sophia finds fulfillment through completing meaningful work that positively impacts her community, and aspires to continue expanding her knowledge and apply it in practical ways.

Amelia Do, MS

Content Marketing Manager
Amelia Do attended the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master’s program at CSU, San Bernardino. She has worked in organizational development, human resources, and employee relations. Amelia is interested in organizational culture and the role of support in employee work related outcomes. Based in Southern California, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog.
